With the lineups for Coachella and Bonnaroo music festivals announced, it's not too early to start thinking about who will be coming through Chicago for Lollapalooza. Here are some predictions (these are only guesses):

If Phish is going to play someone else's festival, it might as well be Lollapalooza. Hopefully MMJ shows up along with Tool, although I think MJK is probably focusing more on Pusifer (sp?) this year than Tool, but that would be bad ass if that happened. I also think the Smashing Pumpkins might make an appearance. Blitzen Trapper would also be a nice surprise.
ReplyDeleteTool would be great, since Rage played last year it does open up for some hard rock bands. I would love Smashing Pumpkins to show up, however I thought they might be there the last two years, so not holding my breath.
ReplyDeleteI would love to see Andrew Bird again since the last time he played at Lalla the speakers sucked at life.
I will add Manchester Orchestra, Bon Iver, Moe, and Anathallo that will show up.
I want Arcade Fire on one of the main stages. I could see them going with JUSTICE and maybe some LCD Soundsystem. Throw some HOT CHIP in there and I'll bring the extascy.
